New Location
We have moved from our old home at the Tithe Barn to a new home. Relocation of the Museum to the Heritage Centre during the winter of 2005/6 proved very successful and has received many favourable comments from the wider museum community in Dorset and beyond. Images surrounded by a dark blue border are links to more information. Construction and display work was undertaken entirely by museum volunteers 
The transfer was made possible by Heritage Lottery Funding, secured by Purbeck District Council and the County Museums Advisor.

'An Afternoon of Music' - A fund raising concert on behalf of Swanage Museum on Sept. 19th 2010 at St Mary's Church, Swanage, from 3pm 'til 5pm. Performing for us are two of the most talented young pianists in the UK, Aron Rozsa and Ben Shepherd.
